Adrienne is a graduate of Alberta University of the Arts, class of 2012 majoring in Glass. Since then she has found herself living and working in Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and her next adventure takes her to the Yukon.
Her work focuses on the connection between glass and the human experience. Constantly drawn to the inevitable ups and downs that come with glass work, that same chaos in turn teaches her how to conquer her own challenges in life.
Since her recent recovery from brain surgery, her world has completely opened up to the wonders of cold working. Now embarking on a whole new art practice of integrating found rocks and glass. This process explores the unexpected beauty that can come from the hardest parts of our lives. These small sculptures and wearable art pieces serve as a reminder, that a crack is often where the light comes in.
