Zeer Liu

Zeer (Clarence) Liu works across jewellery, glass, and bodily adornments, weaving together craft, fast fashion, and pop choreography. His practice centers on the subtle emotional shifts that unfold between people, translating these fleeting moments of connection into tactile, wearable forms that explore relationships, perception, and the self. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Crafts and Design from Sheridan College in 2022 and earned his MFA in Craft Media from the Alberta University of the Arts in 2025. In the summer of 2024, he joined the Material Matters Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as a guest artist through a self-directed study program. He is currently based in Hong Kong, where he works with the bespoke soft-furnishing brand JYDesign.
