Bram Locknick is an emerging glass artist and sculptor about to enter his fourth year in the craft and design program at Sheridan College. His art and design is pursuant knowledge and of a process that seeks to translate concepts and emotion into sculptural works of cast and sculpted glass. He currently uses two methodologies one which combines counteractive symbolic elements using casting, fusing, and moldless pate de verre techniques. The second methodology makes use of geometry to create units of construction for 3D prints to be used in casting as well as hot and cold sculpting methods. He endeavours to work with glass as much as possible whether through production, working as a teaching assistant and now developing his own practice and methodology.
