Angela Keating

Angela Keating is a Manitoba-born artist living and working in Quebec, Canada. She obtained a BFA in glassblowing at the Alberta University of Arts in Calgary, graduating with distinction in 2020. In 2019 she was awarded a scholarship to attend a course at Pilchuck Glass School where she later returned in 2022 as TA to Michiko Sakano and Jay Macdonell. In 2022 she also worked as a TA for Dave Walters and Rob Lewis at Pittsburgh Glass Center. Keating's work is inspired by human anatomy with a particular interest in the muscular and myofascial systems of the body. Through her work, Keating seeks to evoke curiosity and awareness of the body to express her awe of and appreciation for life.
