Heather McCaig
Heather McCaig
Markhamville, New Brunswick, Canada
Heather McCaig was born and raised in Toronto and London, Ontario. In her early 20s Heather began growing roots with her husband in rural New Brunswick. Together they are self taught flameworked glassblowers working side by side in a small studio on their homestead outside Sussex. Since 2013 Heather has been using a propane and oxygen torch to melt rods and tubes of borosilicate glass to produce her work. Captivated by nature and strongly believing in its protection she tries to convey these emotions through her art.
