Taygan Crapo
Cochrane, Alberta, Canada
Having graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now AUarts) in 2018 I am an emerging artists working towards gaining experience in glass with 9years of glassblowing experience under my belt. In my artistic practice I work largely with sculpture and love exploring the versatility in glass through texture and form. Conceptually my work is informed though phenomenology and tactility through glass. I am inspired by the landscape of both my home in Canada as well as my ancestral home of Iceland.
My work is currently at the Corning Museum of Glass Shop in New York as well as Kuivato in Sedona Arizona.
