Erin Pell

Saskatoon, sk, Canada

Erin has been working with hot glass since 1999. Her studio is based in Saskatoon where she uses a propane and oxygen torch to melt glass rods and sculpts botanical-inspired glass sculptures. Each flower and leaf is individually sculpted freehand and is set in handmade wood bases. She has always felt a deep connection with nature and its balance between resilience and fragility. Her work is inspired by this connection and the strong bond and associations we have with them. Erin does not attempt to make exact replicas of nature but reflects the feel and emotion of each plant. You can find her on FB & IG @glassyeyed.
