Kim McKellar

Kim McKellar has been creating kiln-fired glass art since 2008, drawing on her prior experience as a painter. Her landscape panels and windows are formed through repeated firings, adding more frit (crushed glass) and pulled stringer (strands of glass) each time to increase the illusion of depth and luminosity. Kim draws inspiration from the Canadian landscape, in particular, the Bruce Peninsula where she lives with her family.
