Seb Santoro

Calgary, AB, Canada

I am a multidisciplinary artist and student based in Calgary, Alberta working across glass, sculpture, and fibre. My artistic practice is primarily informed by my Southern Italian heritage and ancestral crafts and traditions in fibre arts. My approach is largely experimental, focusing on the material expression of emotional and psychological realities. The subjects I explore through my art are ancestry, bodily adornment, and materiality.
