Hannah Dears is a multidisciplinary artist based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri land, working in her third year at ANU school of art and design. She believes the curious nature of raw observation is often overlooked by passers-by. Using print and sculptural forms through glass, light, metal and wood, she rediscovers moments of the organic world once forgotten or ignored, inviting opportunity for reflection. The fascination of naturally emerging mark making is emulated through light refractions in glass through asymmetrical forms creating an encompassing immersive experience. Interactive installations acknowledge the wonder of the living environment seen and shared through interpreted practices, encouraging individual exploration.
