Zeer Liu

Zeer (Clarence) Liu is a Chinese artist from Wuhan, currently based in Vancouver, specializing in jewellery and glass. He also has a passion for fashion design and pop choreography, which enriches his multidisciplinary approach to contemporary material arts. Clarence first discovered his interest in jewellery and adornments through his practice in glass (hot blowing, sculpting and flame working). He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Crafts and Design from Sheridan College in 2022 and earned his MFA from Alberta University of the Arts in 2025. In the summer of 2024, he joined the Material Matters Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as a guest artist in a self-directed study. Clarence is currently a full-time designer and art consultant with JANISA Hong Kong.
