2025 GAAC Conference

Confluence: A Shared Path

The Glass Art Association of Canada (GAAC) is thrilled to announce our 2025 conference, Confluence: A Shared Path, which will be held from June 5 to 8, 2025, at Lumel Studios and Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon.

This year's theme, Confluence: A Shared Path, celebrates the intersection of diverse artistic journeys, fostering collaboration and innovation within the glass art community. Set against the stunning backdrop of Whitehorse, this conference offers a unique opportunity to explore new creative horizons and connect with fellow artists, educators, and enthusiasts from across Canada and beyond.

Join us in Whitehorse for an incredible weekend where we will celebrate the unity and diversity of the glass art community. There will be demonstrations in the hot shop and flame-working studios incorporating kiln work and cold shop techniques to showcase the endless potential of glass. We will also have various panel discussions and presentations to expand our understanding of glass art and its intersections with the social, environmental, and technology sectors. Let's share knowledge, ignite creativity, and build lasting connections.
